lol yeah I'm still thinking that.
I've been growing my hair out to donate to Locks of Love. It finally got long enough that I could get 10" cut off without it being really short. So I got it cut about chin length. It's cute, but it's an adjustment. It's an adjustment to everyone else too-pretty much everyone I know that I've seen this afternoon has mentioned my new haircut =P

I drove Matt to volleyball today. When it was time to go, Joy found out that her car wouldn't start-it came close though. She couldn't get ahold of her dad to ask what the problem might be, so I called my dad to see if he had any ideas. He asked a few questions about the age and condition of the car, and finally Joy told me to hold the phone to the engine so my dad could listen while she tried to start the car. She turned the key and...
It started!
And Joy said "Your dad's amazing!"

ok, not really, but some days it seems like it. In the last month and a half, I've...
*had a birthday
*graduated high school
*finished (almost all of) my schoolwork
*been to Savannah, Georgia, and back
*been to Girl Scout day camp as a unit leader
so I pretty much did nothing for most of last week =) this week I've been getting back to being productive...I have camp again next month and the fair is the first week of August.
Happy birthday Bethany!!

most weeks are a bit crazy, but this week was a special case.
my online school is now in its second semester, so I now have MS Office, Constitutional Law, and Economics.
We went to the Federal Reserve Tuesday. We saw American currency of all ages, we saw the checks being sorted, and we saw the vault. We knew we were headed to the vault when extra security guards showed up to escort us =P
Wednesday we went to see a play about Amelia Earhart, which included a cello making airplane noises =)
I played in the pep band today. The games weren't in their usual order, so there was an hour in between the games that we played for. So some of us went out for ice cream...and it's been snowing all day! =0
By the way...Amanda and Bethany, did you get my e-mail about the games? We're only playing at one more, I hope you can come!

I just got my government midterm back. I already knew that I had missed a couple points, but I was fine with that. But when I saw what I had missed...
I had made a typo.
That was all I missed.

I went on a field trip to a one-room schoolhouse, complete with 1904 schoolteacher. He was very nice outside the schoolhouse...but inside he was very...intimidating. =)

we sent Matt and my dad off on their Boy Scout trip to the Grand Canyon this morning. It was about 40 degrees and still dark out, and these guys are loading up and running around taking pictures of each other. But all of the boys got out of the street in a hurry when my mom told then I was driving home! =D

went to the picnic for this year's seniors. Learned how to play Ultimate Frisbee. Had fun. soooo tired...

Went to the pre-judging for the county fair today. I did well for my first time at fair. I still have other projects to work on, but I have another week.
Matt is at the Boy Scout National Jamboree, having a good time =)
The summer classes I've been helping with ended last Thursday. They were fun.

went to day camp this week =) had lots of fun. ate s'mores!
I helped out with a unit of girls who will be in third grade this fall. I taught them some songs, played some games, cooked, and hiked. And blasted them with a super soaker, cause it was soooo hot.

yeah, I know I'm a day early, but my dad's leaving tomorrow (he and my brother are going to residence camp) so we moved Father's Day to today.
I know I haven't posted much. I've been keeping busy though.
I'm still not done with school! and it's driving me crazy

I got DDR for my birthday! So much fun, my whole family played for an hour or two =)
And my mom and I decided to see if we can get a group together to play frisbee golf. Not as a birthday party, cause it won't be for two or three weeks at least. I'm sure it will be fun though!

Yup, today's my birthday.
I have some catching up to do, post-wise =b Let's see here...
The league started last Wednesday. I'm on Team Eclipse, which won...one game (that's one indivdual game...out of two matches with six games each).
I went to my friend Hayden's birthday party last Friday. Ten six-year-old boys. Not nearly as wild of a party as you might think...until they played Simon Says and "Simon" said "Dogpile!". ^^
Tuesday my Girl Scout troop went on a field trip (=
In the morning we drove up to a dairy farm. We got to see where they bottle the milk and then we got to milk the cows and feed the calves. And then we got samples!
After that we went to the bakery where my aunt, uncle, and cousins(Amanda and Bethany!) work and they showed us around. =)
More later, I have to go stick my fingers in my ears while my family discusses my birthday presents. ^^

My mom asked me if I want to have a birthday party this year. I told her I hadn't thought about it, and she said that was why she asked, because I usually don't think about it til about 2 days before. =D maybe a sweet 17 since I had no sweet 16 =b

Went to help set up for the homeschool conference today.
Mrs. M saw me and said hello. We re-introduced ourselves, and then I asked her if she had a daughter Hannah. When I told her I was Amanda and Bethany's cousin, she ran over and grabbed Hannah and brought her over. Mrs. M told Hannah who I was, and Hannah seemed a bit surprised =D
one of the booths is full of used books! I wish Amanda and Bethany could come.
